About The Author

Jamie Young is a Texas native who discovered her love of writing in late elementary school, crafting short stories inspired by playful pranks and imaginative scenarios.
She graduated from Jersey Village High School in 2001, earned her Associate’s degree from Lone Star College-Cypress in 2007, and completed her Bachelor’s degree at Houston Baptist University in 2011.
Jamie lives in Texas with her pets-Lola, a lop-eared rabbit: Serafina, a Russian Blue cat, and Rascal, a mischievous tabby cat.
Her debut book, Too Late to Say Goodbye, was inspired by the loss of her father and explores themes of grief, resilience, and hope. Writing this book allowed Jamie to process her own experiences with loss, and she hopes it will offer readers comfort and insight as they navigate their own journeys.
